For bold sustainable housing projects
Grant call – new theme for Innovations by Burinka
We are looking for a new groundbreaking project that will move the Czech construction industry towards a more sustainable future and work out in practice.
CS Building Savings Bank Burinka (member of Erste Group) announces the grant call Innovation Grants by Burinka for Sustainable Housing”. To support innovative material and technological solutions, we will distribute a total of CZK 2.5 million – CZK 2 million for the main project and CZK 500,000 for a secondary project.
The call’s expert guarantors and partners are INCIEN – Institute of Circular Economy and the Partnership Foundation.
The grant call’s aim is to support projects that provide specific material or technological solutions with a real impact on sustainable housing.
The project to be supported must have clear, verifiable deliverables – for example:
• functional prototype;
• pilot installation;
• demonstration application;
• or technically documented testing of the solution under real conditions.
The call is intended especially for startups, spin-offs, research teams and other entities that have the ambition to actually implement their idea and put it into practice. The winning project will become the new flagship of the Innovation by Burinka platform and will build on previous realizations, such as the first 3D-printed house, Prvok, or the experimental Samorost building made of mycelium-based material.
